Sarin

Sarin: (The Edge) Sees opportunity in dispute btwn diamond retailers over gem quality standards. Grp is in the midst of marketing a new product called Sarin-Light, which could measure the brilliance of a diamond in a more robust and objective manner than other tools in the market. Note that currently there is no industry accepted standard to measure light performance. If grp were to estabalish a pre-eminent standard to measure the brilliance of a diamond, the co. could see a boom in the sales of equipment to retailers and diamond producers. Note that while other systems measure a diamond's light performance from a few angles, Sarin has a mechanism that rotates light ard the diamond, and also has a built in calibration appartus or subsystem that recalibrates the equipment periodically to safeguard against saturation and breakdaowns. If successful, Sarn plans to earn a recurring income by simply charging a feww each time the device issues a report on a stone. The fee could be as low as US$15 per 0.25 carat. Note also that grp has a good track record, with past products like the Galaxy Systems and the DiaMension systems contributing to sales.
